The Spray

Cano and Ginger have been getting along pretty well, however the time for behavior classes is rapidly approaching. The couch that's in the picture is their favorite place to lounge, but they're only allowed to do so in the evening, when the dog-blankets are out.

On any given day, they'll whine and snuggle against the leg of anyone seated there, hoping for an invite. If one doesn't come they invite themselves (taking after their owner). We've been racking our brains for a couple of months trying to figure out a way to keep them off during the day. Common sense says don't let them on at all, but they an be so persuasive.

Introduce the spray-bottle...a dog's worst fear, and coincidentally our answer. Works brilliantly!

Yes...I'm alive and well

One would assume (judging from my last post) that my brief stint at bachelorhood may have gotten the best of me. A lot has happened between then and now. For one, I managed to survive a two week stint without my betrothed...while she was partying in Jamaica. I'm officially on the roster to officiate in the MLS for 2012 after a successful weekend (fitness test passed...and to those who are curious, it was never in doubt) in Ft Lauderdale. My brother's days as a "real" bachelor were celebrated in Vegas (four nights is way too long), and to top things off Karen and I visited our good friends Will and Carlee in Phoenix. The USMNT game was not that bad either.

Now I know this seems like a lot of down time, but keep in mind that I worked from August to mid-December, managing to only take off a couple of days. While this may seem like a typical work schedule for you all...remember that I'm somewhat new to this work thing, and plan on milking all of the R&R I can. Happy new years, and thanks for sticking with LOM. I plan on being a little more fruitful than I've been.
