So when we decided to adopt two dogs instead of one, many thought (including myself) that we were setting ourselves up for failure. Karen starting her second year at the UofA, me starting my new job and a house whose organization ranks up there with ...where were we going to find enough time to train some dogs!?!
Well, aside from the rambunctious play that goes on at 5:00 in the morning (yes, I'm awake at that time thanks to the pups) and in the afternoon, the house is somewhat quiet throughout the day. Ginger and Cano are getting along well, and tomorrow will be the day Cano is introduced to the 15 or so dogs that hang out in the park every morning. It's quite an interesting display. A bunch of dog owners taking their companions out to the park at 6:00am, so they can conquer the park without reservation. Should be interesting as Cano barely knows his own name.
