I woke up in a pretty good mood today, and for all the right reasons. After sitting through a three-and-a-half hour exam yesterday, I officially became a certified psychiatric/mental health nurse practitioner (try saying that three times fast). All of the studying, cramming and the like is over, and I can start seeing patients in a couple of weeks. A big relief on my part, and I owe my wife a big "thank you" for putting up with me over the past week. I know it wasn't easy to do.
On top of that I came across a song (courtesy of zefrank) that reminded me of my childhood. My Uncle Pat, a massive Beatles, fan introduced to Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da to me when I was in my early teens, and hearing it covered brought back some great memories. Just kind of made me smile in the moment. Have a great weekend everybody. I'm off to DC.
